Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help out Arise ministry!  Our success relies so much upon the help of volunteers, and this ministry is able to grow and thrive because of people like you! Below are some areas that we could use volunteers. 

DAllas, TX | Night of healing

Mary Immaculate Catholic Church is proud to host Arise Ministry's monthly "Night of Healing". This event is the largest recurring adoration and healing event in the Diocese of Dallas. Each event requires nearly 40 volunteers! Below are some areas we regularly need help: 

• Prayer Line Coordinator - Over 80+ folks attending prayer lines last month - and we anticipate even more this month!! We need YOUR help organizing these prayer lines during the night and directing folks to available teams.

• Confession Line Coordinator - Over 100 folks attended confession last month - and we want the trend to continue. We need YOUR help organizing the lines throughout the night and directing people to available priests.

• Technical Setup - Assist from 3:00P - 5:00P with our logistical setup such as lights, fog machine, screens and projectors.

• General Setup - Help us reserve pews, set up the greeter tables, print Examinations and more. A great volunteer spot for those who love making the Church a warm and welcome place for our guests

• Sweet Treats - Arise Nights are bigger than ever and we want to make our guests feel welcome!! We love having cookies, brownies, and other yummy treats available after adoration. Sign up to bring a snack.

• PowerPoint - This person runs PowerPoint music slides throughout the evening, which keeps everyone present able to participate in the prayers and songs!

• Hospitality

  • First Shift (Set-Up/Greeters) - The "First Shift" will help from 6:15 - 7:45. This volunteer will help set up the ARISE table, man this table and greet guests. (This shift ends at 7:45 so you may either leave or participate in the 2nd half of the worship service)

  • Second Shift (Clean-Up/Cookie Social) - The "Second Shift" will help from 7:45 - 9:00, allowing you to come later or participate in the service for the first half and then assist with cookie/lemonade social that follows the service. This volunteer position will also help with clean-up.

• Prayer Team - Must be a graduate of HS 101 to serve on this Prayer Team.

• Clean Up Crew - "Many hands make light work"... we need help taking down all the lights, projectors, signage, etc.

• Support a Priest. - Help us pay for our priests who come faithfully each month to hear confessions. We strive to give each priest $125 per event.

Anywhere, USA | Media & DesiGN

Do you have special skills for graphic design and media? We're looking for a lot of help on a few projects including: 

• Graphic Design: We host lots of events, dinners, and special series which all require graphic design.

• Audio Editing: We're capturing all of our talks and training sessions on audio. We hope to release an audio library for others to download and listen to.

• Social Media: Do you have a love of Instagram and Facebook? Come and help us communicate with a wider audience through social media.

• Video Editing: We're capturing video for a new vlog series on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but we REALLY need someone gifted in video editing to help us get them ready for release!

greater dfw area | Private Prayer ministry

People call us everyday looking for prayer and healing. To answer the call, we have prayer ministers dedicated to private prayer ministry. Our trained ministers meet with each supplicant at a mutually agreed upon time for a 45 minute session located at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. If you have a heart for healing, our Private Prayer Ministry may be just the call for you!
